I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 25 years experience in counselling, program supervision, and program development within urban, rural, and Indigneous communities. I have been a clinical director/supervisor of multi-disciplinary teams, a manager and provincial child/youth advocate within government, and a psychotherapist trained in couples, family, individual, and group therapy. I have specializations in many areas such as historical abuse, trauma, addictions, relationships, and grief and loss.
My approach has been described as genuine and one that embodies presence, humour, curiousity, insight, and empathy. I believe in the healing capacity of everyone, and am client-centered, creative, and holistic. I love my work and feel a profound respect and gratitude for the people I supervise and continue to learn alongside. I am dedicated to bringing forward excellence in individuals, teams, and service delivery.
I welcome the opportunity to discuss your team’s needs and to see if I can be of service. I am available via phone, video online, or in-person. In my experience, distance counselling and supervision can be just as effective as in-person.
